Southern Miles Country Music Festival Brand Identity
BACKGROUND:
Southern Miles is a country music festival based in Southgate, Ontario. The event celebrates the energy, community, and culture of country music, bringing people together through live performances and shared experiences. With numerous music festivals across Ontario, Southern Miles needed a distinctive brand identity to stand out in a competitive market while staying authentic to its country roots.
OBJECTIVE:
The primary objective was to develop a strong and memorable brand identity for Southern Miles that communicates both tradition and modern appeal. A key part of this project involved designing the festival logo, which serves as the foundation of the identity system. The design direction combined a modern-rustic aesthetic that reflects the authenticity of country music while resonating with contemporary audiences, ensuring the festival feels both credible and current.
